Hi

Well After spending Ours Trying to fix my Machine I Give Up, I tried to Clone HDD & Look At Files In Windows Since then, I have Had the Below,

Still Working On It With The Help Of KD Services Thank you very much and with the help of some files from around the repro area.


Well I Still Have A Motherboard to fit in PC & It now looks Like 2 hardrives to repair, before im running again.

Ill Keep you updated on how i get out of this mess IF

looks the the gfx have packed up and its now output to 1 screen?

the card is cheap enough, buy another one ?

Why not try getting into windows and looking at the gfx card setting under control pane, or try swaping the monitor cable to even see if the monitor can see a signal. Both have come up in my book before

Hi. Just to confirm

Its not the Graphics card i have 2 both do the same machine i have 2 machines and both do the same thing, when i put the pc from one to the other.

You cant go itno windows and change setting ????


This only happend when i tried to clone the HDD, i wish i had'nt bother now DOH !

ALL I CAN SAY TO PEOPLE IS DONT TRY MESSING WITH THE HDD OR CLONE AND THE LUCK IM HAVING DONT EVEN BOTHER WITH BPAK FILES IN DEMO MODE. Not workth the risks

Unless im gettting all this wrong and it can boot in windows.

To imapct how do you get into windows for the graphic set up please, i cant even get the barcrest menu up anymore

remove the HD and strap it to your tower (but dont boot from it)

in the barcrest/master/slot0, remove all references of the game.

when the pc loads now, a no-games option is presented, here you can now insert the usb stick and try again. this would be my solution unless somebody has a better one ?

MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Nails Sell em cheap i paid 350 for them delivered and have had to replace a hdd 4 locks & a motherboard,


I was hoping to sell the elvis and get me moneys make you pir8 you.


Maybe in the end if i dont fix them, they will be on ebay then you make get em cheap, for know ill stick to trying to get them going LOL

Yes i tried that, and thats did not work either, i think thats where i went wrong in the first place, i read the drive and backed up the contents in windows on a usb caddy, then i ghosted the drive, and nothing has been right since , i have not changed the orignal drive just copied from it.


IM SOOOO Stuck unitlll i get the image from KD, did want it ruinning for my party tonight, as i liek em going in demo mode for people to play, so any quick fixes for tonight would be great

Right my advice to all,

Before you even start make sure you get a good raw imagine IN a pc not a caddy, make sure you use a good imaging program dont use acronis, it total killed my imagine, yet to find out why.

Well elvis is now up and running & im now to scared to try other bpak files LOL.but now i have an imagine thanks to KD i have some sort of chance.


These machien are not for the faint hearted, as for selling bpak files on ebay, i guess theres going to be a lot of cheap b3 machines around when people try it and it all goes wrong, whicj im sure it will.

The XPE System is very very fragile indeed.

Well As Said elvis is up and running fully & i think ill get it gone ASAP, As it looks hassle to me, time to move onto a mamae or gambox type project.

Well Worked out what was wrong,

Dont try and boot on 2 other monitors, dont like that at all,


With regard to games, all b3 work in demo mod only,


Other than that both machines up and running, thank to this forum and thnaks for the help

they work in demo only as the program checks the mpu5 ROM when you shut the door. bit like a copy protection.

Im happy with machines working, would imagine its as simple as changing mpu card and loading new game.

Which is pretty good really.

Bit the same as reprorgaming on eprom on the older machines.

Hi the game card plugs into the mpu5 board, and then a usb wire from that to PC on this card it says the game type on it ( i would imagine there are eproms in it, would not know how to chnage them though

I proberly wouldn't bother. As well as the proms on gamecard you would have to change the pic chip which is the securuty for the proms.(socketed 3 pin ic chip). That would cost the money. Anyone could burn off a couple of proms for a mpu 5 cards.

Cant say i did it on my own, as i did get the all important imagine of a hdd to continue, the rest kinda took care of its self, some dead ram blown motherboard & dead HDD.


But both still working perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfectly,

think ill ebay em as i just dont like them, A to Fix B Bit boring, think ill stick to reels it just feels different. screens are not the same, not sure if its because im always behind a screen
