Hi, As titled, Got a Free fruit machine given me today and all seems fine except someone has messed about with the door switch wiring. The machine thinks its in Normal play Modeeven with top door and cash door open, None of the Switches seem to do anything, I have had a fiddle and all i can make it do is Alarm Saying Unused Switch Alarm !! I know both switches work ok its just the wiring is messed up. There are just 2 switches, One on the Front opening door and one on the cash door. Both have 6 Connections. Can anyone help as to where the correct place for them to go is ? I basically want it so when doors are closed it plays normal and when doors are open i can enter test mode.

The Machine is MPU5 and is Called Spiker the Biker, Thanks in advance.

All the wiring is fine mate, It's just the previous owner had removed all the Plugs from both Switches and need to re-connect them correctly.

Buy 2 of them and wire them in. Look at what impact has said above to work out which wire goes where. Then the machine can tell when the doors are shut or open

There is normally 2 sets of wires going to each switch on a crest

2 sets of 2   both go through the switch, one set will give you door open and the other is for data capture.

If the connection is broke  its in door closed  by default  eg if one of the wires is off the switch.

So basically all you have to do to find the correct pairs is get something like a paper clip and try connecting two together if nothing happens keep one wire and change to another  etc

Once you found each set you can connect back to the switch, this is all assuming you don't have the correct wire diagram to go off.

Hopefully that should help.

I forgot to mention that on the 6 pins of the door switch only 4 are used and you have to put them on the correct ones there is normally I tiny diag on the switch itself to show which pins are switched etc
