Ha Wizard - you have beaten me to this.  I had just typed to Uptown47...

 

Mate, if I had the skills I would write you one.

I don't want to be the one to say, but this really looks like history repeating.

Guitar - you gave the impression on the 3rd August that this tool was pretty much there apart from the saving...

 

I don't suppose you can use Visual Basic 6? I have a complete sound tool in that for loading and playing roms, it would just need a couple of functions added to load a .wav file to a slot, and then another to reassemble the rom with the new data.

Just a quick note to say I haven't forgotten you, I'll try and get to this more during the week. I have made a start, but haven't got as far as hoped as time has been at a premium this weekend.

This is simply bullshit mate. Please get your shit in order and stop promising newer members of the forum stuff you cannot deliver, this is way too long to be adding simply the option of saving out the sound.

Yeah, more vapourware and failed promises.

 

At least he is consisitant with delivering dust.

 

If he spent half the time doing what he promised another member on the scene and less time writing essasys about lightbulbs this would have no doubt been done... ...perhaps...

Well, I can only hope he wants to say "f*** you reg" and delivers to you.

I would be beyond happy at being proved wrong for you to get what he has said he will give you. 

A month without a peep is just bull, I can't wait to see the excuses.  Everytime I see him posting here unless it's on this thread or he has delivered to you, I am going to reply and point him to here.

So do a lot of us - but simple comms is not that hard to do.

How hard would a PM to uptown have been to say sorry, delay.

This is the activity we've seen in the past.

I must admit, I'm more in the 'benefit of the doubt' camp on this one. There's a lot that could have happened in his personal life to cause him to drop off the radar.

 

But, anyway, time will tell. Hope he comes through.
