we have got all the update programs on a work laptop i was thinking of offering updates on note acceptors and maybe mechs aswell
how much do u think would be a fair price per note acceptor ???

well last time i sent a astra note acceptor in it cost me £35 including postage

mechs i would say bout £10 + postage as i used to revalidate and calibrating all my own mechs

I did consider offering an upgrade service for the NV4,NV7 etc but just don't have the spare time.

I'd charge around £10 per acceptor and around £15-£20 if they wanted the drive belts replacing with the much better red ones.

I would be careful though as you may get older acceptors made before week 18 2002.

Out of interest which mechs can you recalibrate?

the update for the nv7,8,9 and 10 are done via a da3 unit cost about £299 exc vat will try and get a pic of wont it looks like it`s a hand held device made by invtech which u can copy sd/mmc card there is a usb port on it to update if at any time the notes change again or turn off channels or windows with in the nv`s

plug nv x in wait for the unit to setup press match bnv download press the green button which dose a slow flashing blue with a circle of blue led moving to show it`s updating unless it turns red then there is a problem with nv
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..
