According to my flyer it's :
Height : 1840mm
Width : 710mm
Depth : 715mm
Weight : 108kg
No joy with a manual though.

Pull one of the orange wires off under the metal cover that houses the switch that touches the top door. Pressing start will give you free plays. This way allows all the doors to remain shut and let it be on free play. Use a refill key to turn the volume up.

May i ask why you want it on free play? IMO that's just plain boring.

If you have the key surely every game is free play.
Also is this the machine with the belt reel that moves to allow access to the top feature board bit? I lost so much money on this machine

lol no. Select Amusements have one for sale for £275, which is way too steep, hence my estimation of its true worth. Clubbers are all much of a muchness these days... i've got one, there'd be nothing much to gain from changing it! haha
Unless it was a Scorp 2 Club Cops n Robbers that is!! lol

IMHO this is Gold Digger, which isn't (to the best of my knowledge) emulated. I think people are confusing the machine the thread is about (normal AWP), with the machine someone mentioned above (the club version).
As it stands the AWP version you've got is worth anywhere up to £100, BUT as always the value depends loads on :
a) Condition
How desperate you are to sell it
c) Where you sell it
No, because in free play the game doesn't have a percentage target to play with. Typically they will play far better than a version running on cash, and also the reels / board positions can be manipulated using the hold buttons, so in 'free play' you can make every board a JP.
Hardly a challenge compared to running it with the doors closed, and IMHO Free Play gets boring VERY quickly.
It just feels so... fake. Hence why even though Austin Powers is emulated (using my reel symbols from my machine and some other bits and bobs ), nothing beats shoving real money into a real machine.

Sorry I thought he meant putting a doorbell switch or something on to credit up for free, I didn't realise you meant switching the door switch round.

Also if this machine isn't emulated is that because we don't have roms, because there's no layout done, or because the emulator won't run it?.
If its because of the absence of a layout I'll make one up if someone has the roms. Of course if we don't have the roms then carlosgee could help us out?

Basically yes.
You've got two areas of a machine that hold cash -
a) The tubes, and/or hoppers (your machine should only have a single hopper, no tubes - your hopper will hold £1 coins). You can effectively set a hopper balance to whatever you want. Say you want the machine to hold £75 in £1 coins, then :
- i) If the hopper has £74 in OR LESS, any £1 coins you put into the machine, through the coinslot, will fall into the hopper.
- ii) If the hopper contains £75, the machine will realise the hopper is full to the balance you have set, and any £1 coins you put into the machine, through the coinslot, will fall into a cashbox at the bottom of the machine.
You can always access the contents of the cashboxes, by opening the bottom door(s) (you will often have the large plastic door at the bottom of the machine, and then a small wooden / metal door inside that).
If you want to get coins out of the hopper safely, your best bet is to enter test mode, and empty coins through that. Otherwise, you can physically remove coins from it by removing it and turning it upside down.
Neither of these are ideal - to be honest you shouldn't be removing coins manually from the hopper with the intention of 'playing them back through'.
If you are planning on doing that, you'd be better to stick with a low JP for a while to allow coins to build up gradually (also I think £5 machines can be more fun, especially on higher percentages!).
Also if this machine isn't emulated is that because we don't have roms, because there's no layout done, or because the emulator won't run it?.

I'll have to double check. I personally don't have Gold Digger but thats not to say that no-one is working on it. I'll have a look around.
I'd assume it can be emulated - after all, other machines of a similar style using the flexi-strip reel are emulated (Royle Family Banker, Cop The Lot, to name a couple).

so when the machines on ebay have said hopper disables to comply if you put a pound in then, does it go straight to the cash box or fall straight through where you collect your winnings in the "tray"? sorry

If it says hopper disabled, thats normally just something they say to stop eBay cancelling the auction. eBay doesn't like machines being sold which take / pay out cash, because to be honest no-one except a licensed gaming operator should be selling machines in that state.
If the 'hopper' is genuinely disabled, then you'll probably find that you will have to play the machine in door open mode (Free Play), otherwise you'll get some kind of error message - or it'll just not accept coins at all.
If thats the case, the coins will fall straight back into the payout tray and you won't get any credits for them.
