ok guys i know for a fact the "5 star" machine down my local was jackpotted on sunday night. i know it depends obviously how much money has been put back in but do you reckon today (5 days later) is a good time to go stick a ton in?
my mate also put around 100 in 2 days ago and came away about a tenner down

i would get there now if u can dont just put £100 in put at least £250 and u will gwt a jackpot 53 times, but only if it holds after a non wining nudge hold.

only 53 jackpots? lol
id be happy with one, but no point putting in 250 to get 250 back, and btw there are no nudges in 5 star

Its never a good time to "stick a ton in" as you say..what do you want ? someone to watch the machine for you and tell you when its ready to drop.?
Do what every other gambler has to do..Pay your money and take your chances..If not stay away from them.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

You will probably find that a £250 club machine will only drop a JP after around every £1000 staked through it.
Depends on what percentage it is set on - how other people play the machine (best thing to do is gamble all wins until they lose as this puts up the percentage so it will pay larger wins quicker) if people take small wins then it lowers the percentage keeping the machine happy and so it doesn't have to chuck in any big wins
We have a RIO GRANDE at out local Bingo hall -- It pays £250 approx every 2 weeks (bear in mind the bingo hall is packed daily and plenty of people play on it - at 50p a go) and it pays the £1000 (Barcrest £250 Repeat) about once per month depending again on how people have played it during that month

I have a £100 JP clubber and it drops around every £1,000 - £1,500. Id imagine a £250 JP machine will take more.

when i USE to play the machines in my OLD local arcade i remember this one time when some woman was playing a brand new just been putthe arcade £500 machine. i think in total she spent about £6000 before she got the jackpot. the daft cow went and sold her bmw to get more cash. so it all depends on the machine. the only £15 machine i have seen pay big was a random replay by BGT i think. some one got 36 repeates on the £15 my boos was not to happy me thinks.

TBH, you can't tell unless you're a regular.
Our snooker club for example, if it paid on the Sunday, ppl would come back on friday / saturday trying to get it before it pays to someone else. However, it depends on how busy your establishment is and how many play them. If it's just 2 or 3 ppl play regular and the odd £20 here and there, might take 2 weeks to pay. OR 10 days, who knows.... (the regulars in the club will) But the only ones that take notice and count are the ones that play regular.
