Hi all,
I own a fruit machine called "Cashino" by Extreme Gaming and runs on the epoch tech and when i test the "Comms" i get a message on the alpha saying "7.1 Port Fail" and i was wondering whether there is anything I have to do so that it will be working properly so that i get "7.1:dpak pass" as this means that the data port is corresponding correctly with the datapak, any ideas, and also the manual states that i can access "Extended Tests" by holding down the red test button on the hopper, then press function switch and release but ive tried this and it goes into the normal tests and not the extended tests and this is what I am trying to get into, any ideas, thanks very much for your help, highly appreciated.

Do you actually have a datapak? (I'm assuming not).
If you don't, you'll not get anything other than Port Fail.

A data pack is for when the machine is put on site eg (pub club) so they can keep track of what the machine is doing and when.
At least thats what i think it is,correct me if i am wrong.

Hi all,
Does anybody know how to get onto the "Extended Tasks", I have a machine called "Cashino" by "Extreme Gaming" and the manual states that the "Extended Tasks" are accessed by holding down the red test button then press function switch then release nut this just takes me into the normal tests, could anyone make this clearer or what am I doing wrong, thanks.

Ok, right I own a fruit machine called cashino and is by extreme gaming. The manual states that to get it into extended tests you must press the red test switch which is on the hopper and hold it down whilst pressing the function switch and then once you release the switches the machine will go into the extended tests, but for some reason the machine goes into the normal tests, eg "test coin in" and what I want to do is to get into the extended tests eg "clear memory" etc but i can't, what am I doing wrong, what must I do and please help me, cheers.

the extended tests im sure you have to hold one of the start buttons to access them.
however if your trying to clear a data port error and dont have a data pak plugged in, youll just get the sme error again.

your extened test on epoch would become active when hold down cancle and contiune to press take feature or the 2 or 3rd from the right. As for your manual that setup is for the eclipes system unless extreme had writen the same setup into the epoch software as they done on the eclipes when you reach key 9.1 (10.1 becomes active ) this is only used for memory dump, RTC ect, your software on the machine is data verson not std you will need a edc unit plus a red key as the datapak will continue to beep and show dataport error 7.1 even with the doors shut the red user key would need to be shown to the edc unit and shut the god damn thing up beep beep beep
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..

right guys how about this,
i turn my refill key when the serv door is open and check the software meters. the long term reads that the machine has only paid off 60 % of its money when i have had the machine since christmas and is meant to pay out 70 %, when is it gonna ginally pay off its percentage and also the percentage check section states that the aim is 70 and the actual is 107!!!

Hey hon look what you making me do in my avatar, i think you are doin peoples heads in now if you keep bumping threads you will get no other reply than this.
Why do you need to get into extended tasks for anyways?
Get a hammer and nail and stick it in the machine as far as you can.
