Hi guys. Im a bit of a newb to this fruit emulators but having used plenty of others in the past (megadrive, snes etc.) ive got my head round it easy enough. Ive noticed theres a hybrid layout for homers meltdown which is based on italian job. I was just wondering if anyones working on a proper copy of it? I would love to play it properly with the features and sounds!

Also, do these roms actually play like the machines in the pubs? Id imagine youde have to get the original machine to rip off the code and work out the percentage wins etc. as an accurate way of mimicking the machine?

The Tech that the machine uses is currently un-emulatable at this moment in time.

Sorry

Lets just put it like this, I have a spACE Crime Watch (if you hadn't guessed lol) and it had a weird ROM set in it....it was all cash.

About 4 hours ago I got home from work and someone had copied and posted the classic Emulation ROM to me. I took out the 'all cash' chips and replaced them with the dumped/copied version and -- there you are my 'real' machine runs on the Emulation ROM.....Basically thats the answer to your question.

I appreciate all the work thats gone into this stuff as im in IT so I can imagine its a pain getting them right. You dont get anywhere on a forum if your new and arent polite with the guys know everything, its just the way I am with people anyway.

So what are the newest layouts that are available, are there none at all of the new gamblers out there? I really like how jewel of the crown 2006 plays and similar machines, jump from the 8 to the £1 and exchange for the feature board with steps etc. Sounds like there are none of these layouts about :bigeyes06:
