It could be a naughty chip where even though it's set on £10 all cash you have to permanently make the token level sensors, otherwise you can't get the jackpot.

Saw this on some of the Barcrest stuff at the time when all cash jackpots came in about ten years ago. The jackpot was £6 in cash, but because the token tubes were empty the machine still wouldn't pay a win over £3. To fix it you had to frig the sensors on the tubes so the machine thought it had enough coins, or fill them up manually. On Indy if the tubes were low the Leap Of Faith feature would be impossible once you reached £3.

Is there a TT light on the top glass that is always on? If so this may be the cause. Try the following regardless -

Open the back door and locate the token tube. Might be two come to think of it. They will have orange bases - the £1 tube will have a purple base and the 20p a brown one.

There should be an empty level sensor on the token tubes, near the bottom. They work in such a way that a disc or arm will poke through when the tube is empty, telling the machine it is low on coins and can't pay a prize over £3. Move these sensors up the tube slightly so the switch is up against the tube rather than poking through. The switch will be permanently made, and the machine will think it has enough coins to pay the jackpot. Make sure the other tubes are the same in that they have enough coins in them to make the switches. Now try it and see what happens.

Also when you power the machine up make sure it says £10 all cash and not something else. Might not be £10 software even though the decals on the machine say £10.

Good luck.

Steve :)

Take the skill feature. If cancel slows it down jackpot is possible. Leap of faith, that's the one.

When I did the money talks layout, it needed a setting to make jackpot obtainable.

Best bet would be a new £10 prize key?

You are kidding? I've got this one set at £6 JP and still can't get it to pay. I put a thread up over a year ago about this. :)
