How to remove a note acceptor carriage??

not seen this type of long carriage before, i wanted to take it apart to clean the lens/heads, but other than pushing the red ejector type buttons, i couldnt see what else to do.
any help?

As long as you move the red ejector and its in the open position you should be able to move the whole thing towards you and out it will come .
Its just that its orientation is different to what you might have seen before

when i pull the unit, am i pulling the black carriage, metal coinstaker and wooden base at the same time?

nails unscrew the nuts using a 10mm from the nv tray from the note stacker metal work i know not that silly sorry now by the look at your nv7 you have removed the note stacker were the two metal line are from your pic there is ablack tab this is the same on both side you will need a pen or a screw driver to push these in and slide back the nv away for the note stacker holder
there is a red clip at the front of it push this to your right the nv will open up into to halfs and allow clean ect

i did it eventually, but it was difficault. since the carriage was in place i couldnt see this red clip the guy from inovative technologis was talking about, but yes, upon unscrewing the whole thig from its wooden base (very bottom of picture) i was able to remove it.
i had learned a trick from a guy at global draw, to use merely water and a dap of washing up liquid to clean the lenses.
