Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what percentage you guys who have your own machines have them set at - I have mine on 84%. Of course, it is only me who plays them but I find 84% gives a good game and still makes a good cashox return for my holiday fund!

Also, what hopper float do you have for your £5 machines. I have a £50 float, does that sound about right?

Well, all 4 of mine are at 97% but I have no clue as to how much are in them ....... :-)

when i had my neptues treasure it was set at around 80-84% (not sure) it was 25jp most i kept in her was enough for a couple repeat jackpots so around 70 was in it, even set at around 80% i found that barcrests neptunes treasure streaks quite often.

Try to keep mine on what the manufacturer recommended. Usually in the manual it is 84-86%.

Should give the best game that way, as the manu has tested and recommended a particular percentage for a good reason.

If I don't have a manual I set to 84%.

As i have casino nights round my house roulette, blackjack, 3 card poker and texas hold em games i have mine set to 90% as mates play them too and i think anything less than 90% is not playing fair

I think it was Stretton leisure who did an experiment on percentages a number of years ago and they found that 82% was optimum for 20p play when jackpots were £10.

Personally I only have a deluxe super bar-x that I can acurately change the percentage on, but unfortunately its fitted with old £10 mab chips and plays crap on every percentage I have tried (70-98%). I have been trying to get a proper electrocoin chip set for it for the last year but to no avail.

I have with mine.........£140 of tokens, keep bloody robbing the cash tube for beer vouchers!.....so no cash lol

My Big Brother is currently on 98%, will chanjge to 84/86 soon, as on 98 it keeps paying that what's in the bloody machine .

My Simpsons machine is on 70% (I pretty much never ever play it).

My Club Monty Python's Flying Circus isn't on a percentage as it's bloody broken!!

My Super Pool does not have the dil switch fitted so is fixed at the 78% I bought it at. Still gives me a lot of features and keeps me playing for a while with just a fiver

I used to have Barcrest Pot Luck (£100jp) set on 88% which was it's max. It played to about 80% then one day went on a huge streak, paid about 6 jackpots within about £50 in.
Then what did I do - I got married and she made me sell it .... grrrrr
