new to all this just used wizard and tried del boy fx but cant view bottom buttons, no other dx even loads...gaz

You need to change your screen resolution or remove the tool bar from the bottom of the screen. The tutorials on the site give you more detailed help.

lol daz, bit harsh mate, you were a newbie once... How many times realistically do new members read anything, they just want the answers there and then.

or look at it another way, how many times you brought something, taken it out the box, attempted to put it together, scratched your head a few times, got pissed off, and by the time you have chucked it across the room and broke the f*****g thing, then and only then do you force yourself to read the instructions after its to late.

Im sure we are all guilty of these, face it we are f*****g males for god sake.

Hi Bowie, don't worry about the others they arn't happy 'till they moan lol

As Vamp say's just ask....but best perform a search first.

The first post actually is correct, the wizard does need an upgrade. At some point i'll speak to Woz and Duplu to see what they can do---If I was new i'd be puzzled as it does (which it did at the time of release) run all that was downloadable.

Yeah i was thinking that the other day actually, must be a bit confusing. Probably the reason we get alot of the 'this machine wont run' type posts.

Ok. I downloaded the emualtors and some of the games. Do the game files have to be in a certain directory?. I put them all in a folder on my desk top, but they either don't run, or just come up with invalid layout. Do the game files and the layout files need to be in seperate directories?

Bowie...What I do is set up a seperate folder for each game, download the zip file into that folder, unzip into the SAME folder and then run the emulator. Look in that folder for the .gam file or equivalent and bob's yer uncle. Hope this helps.

Invalid layout means that you are trying to run a game in the wrong emulator.
