I have just bought a simpsons fruit machine £15 jackpot the one with bart skateboarding in the corners.
It was set to free play when i got it and cannot work out how to change this.
It has two boards inside with switches one above each other, all of the switches are off apart from number 6 on the bottom one which when I turn it off removes free play and accepts coins and gives credits but does not pay coins back out.
Help or directions to a manual would be very appreciated, thankyou.
Simpsons help please

The only thing I can think of is a wire isn't connected properly.
Or it could be that one of the switches that's on, should be off.
Sorry I couldn't be more help mate.

put the machine into test and doing coin output test or do a dump on it
the machine takes coin but still dose not pay them out door switch issue
or hopper has become disconected with inside of the hopper unit
if you have the epoch verson look a the hopper driver pcb
if you have the mpu1a or b check the power supply unit fuses

maybe there are not enough coins in the machine to pay out, if its tubed based then they may not be high enough to reach the level sensor. You can move the level sensor round the tube so it thinks the tube has enough coins, then it should pay out.
