Does anyone know what happened to the former contents of the Knowledge Base ... please?

Please note that most of the Knowledge Base (if not all of it) was done by Hurtand165.

Regrettably, Hurtand165 has now departed the scene (hopefully come back one day). you'll also notice his entire server / website no longer exists either. Therefore, I beleive, at his request, the knowledge base has been removed as well. Any Mod or Admin will be able to confirm / clarify this.

I really don't think that's the case mate..... and if it is, it hasnt been mentioned in the mod zone.

At a guess id say it was something to do with the site upgrade or the server change, it's been down since about then i think. I really doubt Hurtand would stoop so low to have his posts removed from there.... they all seem to be gone also, and there were ones done by others which should mean theres just been a problem.

lol Andy did a lot of Knowledgebase work as said, totally agree with Moc's post--but even though he left the scene there was never a request for the info to be removed.

As I know it the Knowledgebase was held within the 'support suite' program that Duplu and Woz has now removed.

I'm sure at some time they will recreate the base as it was...

Maybe I should start a televised Where is Hurtand165? to run alongside the Maddy case. (No offence ment to the R/L story, come home safe kid).

Hope the original stuff is returned, it's very helpful. Specially for those of us who DX and forget how to do somethings

Reel Lamp Zero - The MPU Mecca


A question Moco answered to me not too long ago that I had forgotten and had to ask too.

A simple mistake I made with Wild West was to lamp everything, extract the Graphic on and off lamps, then realised you CANNOT convert basic lamps to Graphic on JPM lol... luckily I just copied the size, shape and co ord's of the graphic lamps and resolved the issue.

Give the situation at the moment lets wait a while, then One of us Mods or Members can ask duplu to re-enable it to some degree.

We all agree it was totally invaluable to n00bs (no disrespect) and established FME peep's alike for common answers some of us forget.
