Good Afternoon all,
I am newto the boards. A Quick "Hi" to you all.
I have recently bought a "Barcrest Lucky Strike Club" Fruit Machine.
It is currently paying out in 20 pences. I would like to alter it to pay out in £1 coins.
I am new to fruit machines. (it is for home use only, by the way)
Would someonebe kind enough as to explain to me how i could change this to payout in this way please? In newbie terms.
Thank You in advance for all replies received.

I don't think you can 'adjust it' to pay on just £1 coins. It'll pay out £1s for whole pounds, and anything 20>80p will be paid out with 20ps.
The only reason it may possibly only pay out in 20ps (even if you have more than 80p in your win bank) would be if the machine considers the £1 tubes/hopper to be empty. Is that what is happening - say you have £5.60 in the bank, is it paying out 28x20p coins, or is it paying 5x£1 and 3x20p?

Yes, Ihave the "sensor" right down the tube, as low as it can go.
Any ideas what it could be please?

Hi welcome to the FE world, I love lucky strike, its probably my favorite machine. Great sounds and plays well too.
Just think you could always imagine the machine is paying out 28 20p coins, it sounds better.
Im sure someone here will help you out.

Hi welcome to the FE world
I'd prefer it to pay out in £1's and 20p's.

Mr G, What is your payout percentage on? If you don't mind me asking.
Does yours payout in Pound coins too or just 20p's like mine?

make sure that the sensor on the £1.00 tube is not still in the slot which allows the switch to enter the tube. try moving the sensor up and away from the slot in the side of the tube or rotate it 45 degrees, or best of all just take it off the tube and use some sticky tape to keep the switch in an in position.
