Just one more thing, if you'd be so kind.

i noticed that there are three £1 coin tubes on this machine (and 1 x 20p coin tube).

Looking in from the back of the machine, the 1st one on the left (where the inserted coins are collected) has TWO (2) sensors on it. where as all the others have One.

It pays out from Pound coin tube number 3, I maybe wrong but, it doesn't seem to have a link from the coin mechanism for any coins to go in there, to be paid out on any win.

Is it possible and easy enough to alter this? Or have i got to wait until the first two tubes are full of pound coins before the "payout" number three tube fills up (even though i can't see a way of this tube filling up from inserted coins?)

Why has pound coin tube number 1 got two sensors on it please?

As always, all help and advice is gratefully received.

Many Thanks,

Jamie.

PS: I'll sort out some picures from my PhotoBucket account and put some on here for you to view. :)

most probably the power supply as i've had a few of these go tits up and it affects the lcd display.

it could also be the mpu but i doubt it.

i would try to source a power supply first then a mpu and if its still buggered a lcd display thats identical to the one you had working.

Will all MPU 4's fit and work in my Lucky Strike "Club" Machine or do they have to be for each specific machine, please?

Ps. I have tried the PSU with =http://cgi.ebay.co.u...&rd=1] This One but it still don't work properly. (still got flashing lights and the Alpha, doesn't even work at all now. :(

yes all mpu4's are the same and will fit your machine. when it pays out 20p everytime u switch the machine on then that'll be a faulty triac on the mpu4 board

Are there not various "mods" of the MPU-4? The early ones have non synth sound. Player was giving away MPU-4 Mod 6's but I have to get my MOD2 repaired so that the sound will still work.

I bought This PSU. But i still had the trouble with all the lights flashing. :(

All the Amp fuses were the same rating. The only differences were:

1. It was about 10mm wider (so i just swapped the foot plates over).

2. The kettle lead connecter was positioned about 10mm over to the left. (so i unscrewed the psu holder and moved that over too).

this blinking bandit (no pun intended), is doing my frigging head in. :(

Sorry, Forgot to mention that the fuses on mine were all in a line. whereas the one that i bought, the fuses were in an "L" shape.
