i was down in one of my local gambaling arcades today:bigeyes16:

and i noticed an old dusty £4 jackpot machine called collossus (excuse my spelling) tucked away in a corner

so i thought i would try a few quid in it i imagined that a maximum of £5 would be required to get the jackpot if not less

i was horrified to find that once i had put close to £20 in it with out so much as a decent feature at this point i walked away empty pocketed and depressed.

so my question is how the hell can a frickin lousy £4 jackpot machine take that much???

The payout could have been set low. But back when those machines were used everywhere you thought you were rich if you won £2! So you didn't mind not getting JP. Forcing them is always tricky unless you just drop lucky.

Are you sure it wasn't just a crap, downgrade chip for that heap of JPM crap that was out about 8 years ago?

I think i've got in on an old disc myself. There were a few problems with the emulation though, i think mine wouldn't run properly.

It's an MDM, Cloud.
Even worse!!!!!!!!!!
Just type "Colossus" into the Dowbloads Search and play away! :)

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.

Yeah, both are Mdm. Both are cracking machines on low jackpots if you ask me. Jackpot is not your target but you will find after a few quid it will happily gamble upto 45 nudges as long as you haven't taken anything along the way.

Cash attack via the hidden features all the way.

I've used the links given above to download the files, but when I start it up in MFME v1, 2, 3.2, 9.4 I get the error message; ROM file not found.

Anyone got any ideas?

This is a great machine when trying to force, had many hours of fun on it (and lost a lot of cash! what joy..)

Cheers
