Yes, that was an aired episode...... I remember it well
Listen to the part were Zippy says "I've got a big red one" -- This sample is actually used on PacMan when you get the Red 7's JP
Also remember other shows like Captain Pugwash - with Seaman Staines
No wonder a lot of these series got banned

If I recall correctly, that was an urban legend, and no such character exists, nor was shown in the public domain.

Ben is absolutely right.
This episode of rainbow "wasn't" aired...It was created as a christmas party showing for the rainbow team and was leaked...It was never shown on screen.
As for Captain Pugwash...There were no characters with those names either I'm afraid. I wish there was!
Roger the cabin boy, seaman staines, master bates...all an urban myth I'm afraid
Now if they were ever to dare to repeat Tiswas....then you'll hear some real innuendo on a kids TV show. Anyone else remember Sally James wearing that leather mini and stockings???

Yeah i remember the great kids so got aload of episode n tape somewhere.Loved it.

talking of old kids shows.... i used 2 love visionaries? any one else remember this.... loads of cartoon dudes running around with staffs that were hologram animals or somthing...... its been sooo long and i have suffered at the hands of fosters to quite recall the ins and outs of it... but just to say i used 2 run around the garden like a loon after watching this........ no wonder i was abandened...
