Hope it is the beginning of the end for Section 16 machines - I for one will not be disappointed - as I hate these machines.
Believe it on not I won £500 on this machine once (All Sevens and Wilds rolled in) - but when I worked out how much I had put in (over 2 to 3 weeks) - I was about £400 still down. Do not play them anymore. As for the "Random" theory I know it is some kind of fact that they are random but other than myself I have never seem another paying out the jackpot (imagine the amount of money these machines take).
I think the only way to enjoy playing these machines is if like Nails you have one in the house = no loss of money - quite fun to play. Play them in the Arcade and £100 disappears very very very fast indeed.
God ridance to Section 16 machines.

Think it is something to do with daylight robbery. These machines take more off you than the Government.
Burn them - That's to kind. Make them suffer - A nice slow death.

its possible that machines that are not mainstream will fins themselves on ebay, as for elvis/cashino etc the £995 upgrade represents good value to a machine worth thousands that would otherwise be scrapped.

its just possible that the machine was taken in part x for a newer machine and s.e leisure just put it on ebay just to see if nails would bid for it lol

PGS + co can be upgraded for about £1500 to B3.

Hi all, just a few questions i would like to ask,
firstly i was led to believe that machines had to pay out a minimum of 70% and i have found that s16s have no % so what is all this about?
secondly how come that s16s are no longer going to be about?
cheers guys, all the best, chris.

All about maths......
Think of a set amount of balls in a bag and each ball has a predetermined 'spin'....that ball is RANDOMLY picked via the RNG and it pays possibly the Jackpot....thats won and they reset.
The machines emphasise is Random, the Ball senario represents that....how many balls determins the %'age....
Damn I know what I mean sorry lol

Simply the %'age is achieved by the amount of 'possible' wins the RNG has stored up.
Takes 5k to pay the JP, then 'in Laymans terms', the RNG is reset with less losing spins, therefore a %'age is created knob!

Takes a lot to be insulted by adyb who's normally cool as a cucumber.. well done chap!! lol
The law changes in September so they will not be allowed to have category S16, they will only be able to have category B3 which are not random and work on £1 a play £500 jackpot and the license for the arcades are a lot more, so from September you will see no S16s.

Lol
I kind of understand now - Thanks for the message.
Hope you don't think I'm cheeky - Just one more question:
Can you explain the Aspect Ratio - Per Light Speed - Per Reel how this equates to the Velocity of the Jackpot Run % Per Token.
Only joking ady - I have had my quarter of abuse today.

Not only will there be B3 machines but some new creations will be bought into the market.
I found this a laugh-
Bell Fruit/QPS and Mazooma sec 16s cost £995 each for sec 16, now a B3 kit on top costs £1295, mmm strange more than the machine itself.

how do you explain this random spinner next to me that has not paid a jackpot for over £7k ?
the aiming % is 94, the actual is 91.94
this is where practice defies logic, that said i do feel that some machines operate in a totally different type of randomness than others. perhaps we can wake up stevedude2 for his explaination (again)
