But that is the idea of random ---- Imagine 500,000 balls in a bag and everytime you press start you are allowed to pick 1 ball out of the bag, if that number is 1 then you win the jackpot.
Now before you press start again you must replace the ball into the bag, give them a good shake up and pick another ball.

Another one on a smaller scale - I take it you have seen DEAL OR NO DEAL, 22 sealed boxes that are randomly filled with the cash amounts by doing the same pick a ball out of a bag idea - then the contestants pick a ball out to chose their box for the game..... How many times do you see £250,000 on the table ?? --- and that's just using 22 boxes !!

But DOND is not random. There's some chap who puts the cash labels in the boxes and for all we know, picks whos game it is......

DOND is random. The way they chose the amounts they put in the boxes is to pick a ball out of a bag (which is done by a person not asociated with any other part of the game) 1st ball out of the bag has the 1p and then they work all way through to the £250,000

The boxes chosen for the players are also random as they dip into a bag of balls, the number that comes out is their box (which is done in front of the audience) the only thing that isn't random is the player for that day, who also happens to be the first person to dip into the bag of balls, hence saying they choose that box at random (if they were the last to dip into thje bag they would have had no other choice than to take the box that was left over)

The 50p/£35 version ?
That will be the REEL MATCH cheat then ---- Old news
Not bad for a quick £140 - but getting a board when it is in suck mode may take £20 or more.

Still prefer the £175 cheat for Monopoly R2R - easier to get

My mrs would cut off my man bits if I tried to get her to do that (unless they started giving more free wine ;) )

OK then, does anybody else have an arcade near them that attractive girls go in? Must just be Birmingham if this is the case :)

Takes a lot to be insulted by adyb who's normally cool as a cucumber.. well done chap!! lol

The law changes in September so they will not be allowed to have category S16, they will only be able to have category B3 which are not random and work on £1 a play £500 jackpot and the license for the arcades are a lot more, so from September you will see no S16s.

If the new B3,s are % payout they wiil still be difficult to force/win jackpot because of no gamble and difficulty in refusing wins?

The B3 games do not have to be random, but you'll probably find most of them will be, as S16 games have proven that random machines work the best, as everyone has a fair chance. You might find a tiny bit of control in there to cut back on the negative cashboxes that have been synonymous with S16 games, but I doubt there will be much else - they will still be largely unpredictable.

With B3 machines manufacturers are allowed to put a gamble in, so don't be surprised to see a typical red/black or suit gamble in there to allow the player to gamble to a ceiling value. These gambles will probably be random and true odds, so if you lose the win the game is unlikely to play any better, as it's not as if the game is compensated and you're driving a reflex up. Conversely if you win money from the gamble it should carry on playing the same.

For the first few months all you'll see in the way of B3's in arcades are converted Slottos, Elvises and the like, as the market is awash with them.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

And there's little old me intent on getting one. We dismantled one of your Slottos today to send the glass off (if only it was real glass lol). Had that nice (not) 'arcade' smell inside the cabinet.

Why is it the only JP I won on a Slotto the one in our workshop - WHY??
