Help
i have just brought a second hand Maygay Deluxe Monoply 1.1 £6 jackpot with tokens but of course i have no manual. When i turn it on it comes up with two codes 2.3 & 4.2 does anyone know what these mean and how to fix them, or do you know of any place were i can get the manual from?

2.3 is classed as a reel fault and in this case its the 3rd reel looking from the front of the machine.
i will have to look into the 4.2 error.

check reel tab and opto on reel 3 swop reel 1 or 2 with 3 to see if the error jumps across look around the mpu1a from the reel plug back to reel.the machine on it`s own will clear the ram then set-up as normal allowing play as the normal

2.3 could be reel 4 depending on machine as some count 0 as number 1 etc

thanks baz cheers!
Please Turn off The Power First
ok open the back of the machine the 3 reels are right in front of you. from the back the reel would line up in the ordar from right to left. as to the front of the machine from left to right if all were ok and working.
unplug the 3 reel that would be the one on your left from the back of the machine. You will see looking at the reel there is a printed ciruit board (PCB). To which the loom(wires) was pluged into there. There also an opto this that little black box thing which is about 1/2" long and 6mm thick. This is the opto
also maybe labled as opt1 in white. give this a clean with a dry paint brush.
as like other two will have there is a black opto tab this a piece of plastic. To which it will pass through the opto and break the light that the opto makes. So the machine knows where the reels is. There are numbers on the side of this make sure that they match the other two reels. the opto tab sit`s on the drum of the reel.
Then reconnect the loom back on to reel and try powering up the machine.
no Joy still the same
Please Turn off The Power First
need a pen
label each to the postion i.e reel 1 =1 reel 2 =2 and rel 3 =3 on the plastic and on the wood base to where the reels sit
ok as before open the machine from the left. Reel3 unplug the loom from the reel and the same with the middle reel 2. Now swop the reels with each other
so from the back reel3 =2 and reel2 =3. Reconnect the loom back and try powering up the machine. If this dose not remember to swop the reels back to the normal setup.
no joy still
Please Turn off The Power First
Need a flat ended screw driver small is best
ok as like the beginning from the back off the machine. The loom which is pluged into reel3 thats sould be the far left reel. As from our last test that plug use the flat ended screw driver and push the wire into that plug from top to bottom. Also try doing this on all reel plugs. sorry it dose take some time.
Then reconnect the loom back on to reel and try powering up the machine
no joy still
There could be a break in the wire which connect between your machines computer and the reel ,There is another reel that is causing the error. Reel4 for example or The computer of your machine maybe at fault.
Error 4.2 the machine will clear it`s self if not the battery on the computer is to be a fault or as like above the computer it`s self is at fault.
I hope one of above works and to hope that things are easyer to follow.
