I can't imagine why someone would do that. I would never take my own life under any circumstances - Money worries, personnel problems, or any other kind or problem - there is always a way out of everything. Do think it is a bit selfish towards the grieving family and loved ones as they will never know the answer to why she did it.

Remember this well - You only get 1 chance on Earth.

Speaking of money worries (I've been there and thankfully got out) I looked at a company in Preston today 5 vacancies on all about £15,000 thinking ok lets see who this company are, the f***ers are a debt collecting agency that advert went straight in the bin! Much as I need money I for one could not turn the screw like them twats do.

Agree - They are not very nice. The answer to these buggers is get in debt and get an IVA or go Bankrupt - only on unsecured loans of course.

It is a bit selfish I agree but I doubt the victim cared as all they wanted was a way out.

Can you please cut down on the cocaine and start spelling things out proper - taking ages to read. If this continues you will have to give me the name of your supplier.

In Ireland one school of 600 they have had three suicides in a school in a matter of weeks. Seems like they had a pact or something... It seems that lately there are more and more of these pacts too.. Two pretty teen girls in Australia a few months back as well, it makes you wonder why it's becoming so popular.

It seems even worse when it's youngsters because you think they have so much to live for still.. I was working with a tall Nigerian guy who was over on a student visa and was chatting to him one day and he had just been told that he had to go back because of some problem funding his course, next day it was on the local news he had jumped off a tower block and it made it very surreal..

Me, I think if I could ever be pushed down the line of suicide... I'd think - F*ck that I am going out in a blaze of glory and go to these people who target people who are badly off, get as much unsecured loans as I could and f*ck off travelling and drinking champagne knowing that I didn't give a toss what they thought they could do to me.

These debt companies are toss anyway as only court appointed bailliffs have any power worth speaking about... My dad is a financial advisor (who specialises in free advice for people in debt), he works for a charitable organisation now, and IVA's are a way out (or bankruptcy), but even without these the debt collectors are pretty much impotent, the best thing about going to an advisor is that interest gets frozen (but if you weren't planning on paying it back anyway who cares?).

But I believe we will need to be looking at a shift in legislation which stops banks and credit companies who target vulnerable people from selling on the debts. They sell a debt of £100+ for less than a £1 in some cases, then the company who buys it add charges for that etc. on and send you a bill for 3 times original debt. I want the law changed to allow this association to enforce trading practices which make the original owner of the debt equally responsible for the debt collectors practices (in this way self regulation might be closer, although I would rather ban selling on debts in this way, which would stop the targetting of vulnerable people in the first place).

I had the same thing happen to me when i was working at the broardmarsh shopping centre in nottingham bud. we got a call on the radio that some woman was acting strange on the carpark roof so i was on the ground floor so went out side to see if i could see owt. then this woman looked over the side and starts waving and saying "Hi mr security man" next thing i know is im coverd in blood. i was lucky as she landed about 3 feet from me and that was a thud. she went head first. i will never ever forget that site as much as i want to. when i see films where people fall i have to look aways as i see is her face. The lady in question was on a day release from a mental hospital. she had a note in a bag that just said sorry to who ever has to clean me up.

If you've never been there you wouldn't understand. I haven't personally but someone very close to me has attempted to end it more than once. Thankfully unsuccessfully so far. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't talk to me about it. But guess you can't get inside someones head. They have to want to let you in. If it's too late then it's too late. Don't judge. You might be in that state of mind yourself one day.
