Just got myself a "Super Pool" fruit machine, and although I have a small maintenance manual to go with it, I cannot fathom how to adjust certain settings in the machine.
e.g.
How do I adjust the coin reject mechanism? It is so annoying as it rejects around 60% of pound coins.
How do I change it from 25p/£25 to 10p/£5 ?
The manual lists the DILs and has a table attached to switch 12, but how can a DIL have more than 2 values?
Someone out there with a machine, can you help me?
Thanks
Harry

it sounds like the coin mech is either filthy or it needs recalibrating to accept all £1 coins
to change it from £25 jacky u need to change the stakes and prize key in accordance

It is, just picked it up from ebay for £72 - thought it was a bit of a bargain (but what do I know!?)
On the cleaning or recalibrating - is it straight forward, or even more to the point, What do I do?
Stakes and Prize Key? huh?
I got a few keys but I thought they just opened the machines various locks

the cleaning part is straight forward just remove the coin mech and clean. lol
if it needs recalibrating then thats alot more tricky as u need a device to connect to the mech to recalibrate it (reprogramme) otherwise its either a new mech or goto a local amuesment company who will recalibrate the mech for you at cost.

the stakes and prize key will look like one of the following.
the green stakes and prize key is a FIXED stakes and prize and the other pic shows its got 8 dil switches on it. the dil switch one is VARIBLE this means u can change the stakes and prize of your machine

Got the one on the left. Typical. So what's the point of supplying me with all the £5 decals if I have the fixed one?

That's what I mean, I got the spare decals with the machine - still shrink wrapped - but the fixed prize key in the machine. Can these be bought?

OK, prize key change received from ebay. Plugged it in to replace the existing fixed key but it just kicks off with an alarm RAM error or something. I take it there is more to this than just swapping the key then? Can anyone help me with this?

just let the ram error run and then the machine will power up(you may need to reset the date and time as its a maygay tech machine)
you also then need to reset the hopper as it will read as if there is no money in it.also the volume will need adjusted.

Ok, so now my machine is 10p/£5. Nice. Now it also accepts coins after I took a toothbrush to the inside of the coin mech, and after nearly slicing my fingers off I got the decals in place. Sorted! Thanks for all your help everyone!

Wow, the machine plays like a complete bitch now that the key has changed! Not complaining, it's just something I've noticed. For instance, getting on to the board is no longer a matter of 1 or 2 quid and once on the board, getting onto the extra board just never happens!
In fact, getting over £1.60 without getting the dreaded question mark is nearly impossible!
Just how I wanted it!
