Right its ready !!!

DOWNLOAD INFO IN THREAD

I have decided due to people ebaying everything off this site that i have locked the software to which a code is needed. Some have said that a small fee was acceptable anyway. Anyone who wants to play it will need to pay me £3 Via Paypal and email me for a code - I have discussed this with Duplu and i have also decided that 50p out of every code ordered via this site will go to this site....to help maintain it.

I feel this is fair as i am unemployed at the moment and i have put an awful lot of work into this sim ( about 100hrs ) to make it as close as possible to the real thing and is bug free as far as i can tell

I am aware someone will probably crack the protection in 5 mins flat and it will be on ebay but i would like to think that £3 is not a lot to pay for a game and a small price to pay knowing you are also supporting this site ...so im hoping people will just make the small donation...

Definitely not my cup of tea this one but good luck with it. I think it's right that you should make some money from all your hard work and not let some grasping layabout make it. At one time I would have called for everything to be made available to everyone but unfortunately life ain't like that. £3 is a small price to pay for a decent SIM.

As for payment. Why not get those without PayPal to PM you and get them to send a postal order?

Does this mean that any new emu relases aree going to be charged for aswell? I no a lot of effort has gone into this sim and dont blame you for wanting to make some money from it as the ebay sellers do but alot of effort goes into dx, ing and classics aswell. I myself wanted to try a dx but new I would not be able to devote the time needed to it that I would have to.

I just hope all new releases and going to be charged. Just my opinion guys n gals before you all attack me lol.

edit... If someone gets the unlock code from you would this only work on there machine or could they sell the unlocked version? Dont worry I wont be doing so as i dont have an ebay account anymore and wouldnt do it anyway.

People have said it is poss to pay with a debit card to my paypal but i not had chance to look at how i was hassled to releasing early..

instructions are in the program you have to pay via paypal

and include your name and order number that the program generates

Donating to this site is a great cause as i myself was a gold supporter and will be again when I have the spare cash.

This may not be an emu release but that doesnt mean the same amount of effort goes into an emu than a sim.

My main point was that if other people start charging for their releases it may halt the ebay trade but could possibly harm the fme scene.

You say that each download requires a different code, once downloaded I would imagine there is nothing in place to stop the downloaded program being put on a disc and working perfectly?

had secound thoughts on this.you pay for one machine and every one else will want to be paid for there machines.i can see this being the end of free machine downloads if people pay the £3 for the activation key
