Just a moot point that I've just thought of. Must be all this alcohol swimming around that's activated my brain. Why don't DX'ers Copyright their artwork? It's so simple and doesn't cost a thing except for some stamps. You simply post yourself a copy of your DX and leave the envelope unopened. Mark your DX copyrighted and if it appears on E-bay at a later date then you can sue them as you can prove in a court of law that you originated the DX as you have a post dated envelope containing the original.
Problem sorted.

Charging for a sim? You can f*** right off!!
You say you've spent over 100 hours on it - so f*****g what. I've spent 1000s of hours creating dx/wdx's and never once considered charging for them. So you're unemployed? Guess what - so am I!! and yes I could use a few quid right now but it would never cross my mind to ask for payment within a scene that has long been considered 'free'.
If people want to donate to fruit-emu then they can in the ususal way, just same as they can at DADsFME, and before you ask - donations at DADsFME are used to keep the site running, not as payment for the layouts I've done.
Go screw yourself

This one is getting nasty. The coder has done his work so I don't blame him making money of it. I don't like this machine personally, but if he doesn't make some money off it someone on eBay will - So don't blame him one bit. That is his reasoning behind it - Simple as that.

Well lets face it they were a tad bug ridden and not really fit for the intended use ?
by his own admission they were not that good and used crest's artwork
and the fact he was releasing one a day dont really back up the "he put the time and hours in" comment

good on yer dad 100% with you
lol this guy makes me laugh, please don't think i'm insulting you because i'm not.
Just you are like a tennis ball at Wimbledon...read you past posts.
--------------
I just looked for a comment that was made earlier "can now see both sides"...but either i'm like the rest of you having enjoyed Saturday night or its been edited/removed by the poster.
All in all (as you said dad) this is a Sim and I too spend my time on FME...as loads of us do -- too much time mabey lol, but thats our choices.
My personal view on Sim's is they are Chalk 'n Cheese compaired to Emu's...We have NEVER sold Emus have we?....but v9 was leaked and people thrive on that yet was the Authors thoughts considered then?
Not trying to get into any arguements at all, but why are some so quick to shout when it suits?
