I really can't believe that people are attacking someone for charging a small fee for a piece of software they have written !
As a programmer myself and also someone who has done nearly 100 layouts. I can say that writing a decent fruit machine simulator is far far harder and more work than creating layouts.
Steve has also released dozens and dozens of free layouts for mfme over the years and released his last simulator for free also.

but I think you could quite easily argue anybody could use this as an advertising thread then and FE would turn in to a load of adverts.

Search the net, search for fruit machine sims. £3 is cheap.
Is there a demo version though, like all shareware sims, there is normally a try before you buy option......
