Data error - cyclic redundancy check. What it means for your data, CD and DVD discs

Sometimes you can get them to work by giving them a decent clean with a dry cloth...

sometimes cleaning then putting in another reader often works disk probably scratched to crap .
if can not get disk to work im guessing re download of them all would be needed you could then put them on some form of usb pen drive.
your dvd/cd drive/writer could also be broke ,my old version or nero also used to give me this error str8 after writing disk enver used to finish writing end or disk even though said had upgraded worked perfect since
iso buster or something simlar may also let you read the contents of disk
some of that may or may not help :bigeyes05:

I've had this problem with a lot of old disks. My drive won't read them (CRC Error), but my friends drive read some of them and I was able to retreive some data. But I did however lose all my fruity emus :(
I keep most things backed up on hdd nowadays, and if I do use DVDRs/CDRs then I only buy quality ones made by a known brand.
