Well i wouldn't argue with someone that works with them on a regular basis and knows what they're on about. Having said that i thought with the Mega Streak being above the JP on those machines it would at least give you JP. Maybe with the newer ones they've made them tighter. On a similar point i have been on Hot Stuff and clones, got top streak , and been given less than £25. The same sort of thing i guess.
Ey Up!

Case in point.
Just played Ross' new classic layout of Cashanova by Mazooma.
Got 3 back to back red boards (IMs), and took the auto-collecting top feature (Cashanova) on all 3 occasions - on £5 JP it awarded :
1) £9
2) £10
3) £4
As you can see, the last time it awarded £4 and then stopped - 80% of the jackpot amount. So clearly anyone who says that an auto collecting streak / top feature can award less than a jackpot is clearly a liar - according to the very knowledgable people who have posted here so far

I think any fruttie that says "mega streak" should pay minimum jackpot value.
There is no doubt the machine in the original post has not been set correctly, for whatever reason.
A top feature doesn't have to pay the jackpot, as many haven't in older machines. Since mid 2000's when Barcrest (eg: Maximum overdrive clones and Hot Stuff clones) and Mazooma (eg: high n' mighty) had mega streaks - I always found they were at least jackpot value.
These £35 bandits seem bloody awful..I haven't played them much, but they take loads to go past a pathetic £2. I don't fancy playing them at 50p a go.
The increase in jackpot value should have been raised to £50.00 minimum....£35 is a stoopid number. (esp when you can walk into a bookies and win £500 on a spin of a "roulette" wheel)

Fair enough that proves it can happen. I can only go by my experiences and i've never been conned by an MS like that. Saying that though i've never had 3 IM's back to back but if i did i don't think i'd complain too much about a shortfall on the last 1
Sod's law struck me on saturday though. Played a Pulsation which I know the top only awards £10 sometimes but what happened was beyond belief.
2 tops for £10 each then I lit all features red and got the bonus slow down. Hit feature then all the machine flashed, Notes starting flashing all red £35's hit start but nothing registered!! Hit start again and got spin so £0!!! Me and my big mouth eh?

£35 Jackpot Machines- Basically tell these machines to f*** off unless you come across any of the red gaming machines as these seem to play the same as the £25 reds, especially vortex even though it is 50p play but you do have an option of 30p per play but I say keep it on 50p per play and on mega game therefore any number that rolls in is multiplied by 8, but all the other s*** like multi winline machines, grrrrrrrrrrr soooooooooo boringggggggg just keep away because yes they seem to never go past the £2 win.
I like Red Gaming, what would gambling be like without them?

In the main your right but there have been some other good conversions to £35. Jewel in the crown and Chav It are 2 examples. And your right about playing mega spins. My faith in the fruit machine world has been restored in the last 6 to 8 weeks since all the upgrades have been kicking in. Especially the 50p stake.

Vortex seems to if in a bad mood rob you from £16 at the most before a win but when you finally get a spin usually you get the 12 nudges giving you £8 and then once collected when u press start yoou get 12 nudges again and another £8 win.

I'm sure "Dracs Cash" on Barcrest Son of Dracula could give less than £25.

Another shining example of incompetence on behalf of the rental company.
