know... after recent events ive decided to shape up for the sake of my kids..... but as was... i used to sit behind the keyboard each day and run my sites, whilst drinking 16-20 cans, + a bottle of red wine each afternoon/eve...
im not prying... but how much do you drink, day by day... honestly.

I don't tend to go mad unless i know i'm off the next day. I hate working with a hangover! I hate being sick so normally i'll stop before i get too far gone. Everyones different though i guess. But i've seen too many people get ruined by drink it happens far too easily.
Ey Up!

ude never in a million years beleve me... but i ruined a promising career in the nba due to drink, 1991 i was drafted to the chicargo bulls as a 17 year old... 6'3.. and the only white guy in the rookie squad... fooked it thou.. turning up stinking of booze, if i turned up at all... sent back to england in disgrace by my mom, .....last time i saw her.. or my nan , bless her soul.... such a dangerous game.... im still struggling now to be honest.. 15 years later....too week, too many years of getting by the hard times and relying on it... i know my kids look at me and think its the norm, so to speak.... but i dont want them to follow in my foot steps...
dont get me wrong, myself and julie live more than comfortably, money is second nature in the buisneses we have, just dont want to be 50 years down the road and see my kids living like i do....

Nothing on a normal day, but on Holiday I do have a dab at the beverages round Grandma's...Bailey's and cola is a favourite, and perhaps some Chang Beer for the night. Normally by the end of a week I have drunk about a teacups worth of Baileys and quarter of a small bottle of Chang...So tea total does say it!

I have a beer most nights, but I don't drink 'strong' beers...I avoid them as much as I can.
I suppose on average I have 6 Fosters a night...I count what i've had as an end-of-week figure and i'm shocked by that amount.
Driving the next day, I just go without.....sad thing is I have trouble sleeping then.....One of Two things, dependant or too many Coffee's I don't know.
Just i'm (though lesser) the same as Matt, whilst on my PC I need a beer!

I only play crane machines now, you can't put your winnings back in.

LOL great reply john.
I too am effectivly Tea Total, I drunk once, was sick, had none of the 'so called happy feeling legless etc side effects' thought what a fkin waste of time and money and havn't drunk since.
I like JD and coke or Baileys in coffee etc, but don't drink regularly enough maybe one every 6 months, prefer soft drinks.
Much better to be sober at nights out, then you can take the piss out of everyone who didn't remember the night before.

Ok... can we stop the comments now and get back to the thread.... ppl who drink and ppl who don't often struggle to understand each others ways.
Basically matt, 16 to 20 a week is usually too much unless you don't drive, but a day??? Bloody hell, suprised you have any liver left.
As for not wanting your kids to grow up like that, thats a step in the right direction, and following along the lines of Todds shock theory...
Drinking 16 to 20 a day, you may NOT get the chance to see your kids grow up. (cold hard facts) sorry
