Thanks for the help

Just have a few questions

First how do I get into the coin in/out on a barcrest I pressed the test button inside with the refill key turned but nothing seems to happen the only thing I can do is adjust the volume

2nd how can I change the pay out so it pays out at the very least there are lots of dip switches but I am not sure where to set them

Hi Newb, Welcome to Fruit-Emu

To get to test mode, usually you open the cash door, wait for the machine to reset.

Now find TWO buttons, one is on the mpu board and one is in a different position of every machine. Its usually located down below the pound hopper, just reach down and have a search around with your hand until you find a hidden button.

Now press both buttons together and you access test mode. Use the buttons to go through the tests and to select them

As for your DIP settings, you will need to refer to your manual as to which DIP switches do what

i am guessing he doesn't have a manual stoney and thats why he's asking on here m8.

as stoney says press the button on the mpu along the same time as pressing the button which is hidden behind the reels towards the bottom of the cabinet (its hidden on the right hand side)

i have included a mpu5 manual for a red gaming machine but they both use the same sort of information that u require.

also to change the % or stakes and prize key there will be or should be coloured keys situated on the mpu5.

Thanks to both of you that helped very much i can now get into the test

On my crest I have something plugged into the board and it has 4 switches its something extra I guess as I can just take it off I believe its called prize stake key

I don’t know how I find out where I set the 4 dips in order to change the payout any help would be great

Also once you have changed the % is there any way to check the % on the display to confirm this
