Unbelieveable!!!!!!

Switched machine on last night ready to put the Multimeter through its paces.

Thought I'd try a couple of quid first, and half way through the second pound, the machine reset itself (it does this quite a bit - not sure why) and the word "Initilising" displayed on the alpha.

Once it had finished re-booting, the sound came back. All I can put it down to is a duff connection somewhere along the way.

So.... all good for now, but could be just a matter of time!!! - Watch this space.

Anyway, I would just like to thank Baz, Lincs, Impact et al for all there help. This site would not be the same without them - keepo up the good work. Many thanks. John

if your machine keeps resetting then your power supply will either have dry joints or is fecked.
most bellfruit scorpion 4 power supplys had to get an internal fan fitted to stop this problem.

theres a good chance yours doesn't have one.
