Well the DOND machine in question is still switched off down my local arcade. One of the women down there said a bloke took £1600 quid out of it in 3 days! She worked there but to be honest i think she was guessing. I didn't know this but she said they refill themselves and that's why he was able to take so much. Either Bellfruit are slow at making at re chip/ re prog or it just hasn't been put on that one yet.

i always did well on the dond 4 reels at 10p for 3 reels or 20p for 4. Usually get mega streak for £6.40 but i have seen some lad get it and it went for £19.00. have had three invincible boards but the woman in the arcade went on the one next to me and pulled 7 jp's off it. By the way, how frustrating is it (or funny) when you see someone playong a machine, a nudge flashes and they stand there for 3 hrs wondering what to do only to have fluffed a jackpot. Only when all the credits have gone and it goes into attract mode do they think they can hold nudge etc makes me howl every time

what i love about this forum, is people like pash who are totally wrong.
The deal or no deal with the telephone on reel 3 had an empty, and was true skill. my business partner made £6k FROM ONE MACHINE.

Did the emptier come about from inside knowledge or just someone messing about one day? Kind of makes you wonder. I had heard through the grapevine that sometimes loopholes in the software are intentionally left in, the testers don't always spot them. The info is then leaked from the inside. But they don't last long. People don't understand the concept behind the longer they shut up about it, the longer they can profit from it. Share and share alike is cobblers, half the people i know wouldn't tell me if they knew something. Vice Versa. They might make it to the machine before i do!
The last trick i had, i did pay a small amount for but i make it back. The 1st time i'd ever had one that worked actually. Not going into details but alas the machine in question in now gone from my local arcade. Still it was good while it lasted.

I personnaly think these tricks that are in machines when they are released ae put there on purpose so as to be sold on for big money. I also hate the way people have been saying how machines are getting chipped because too many people are finding out about the tricks. they make it out as though they discovered them when in reality they were prob told off someone else anyway!!
I used to be schitzophenic but were ok now.

Just slightly "off topic" but no really..Played a DOND yesterday called "whats in your box ? " or summat.
It was mental cos you could change the stake..
1 Payline..2p a spin
5 Paylines..5p a spin
And the one that makes the cash and features go all red 10p a spin.
Played it on 5p a spin and it played surprisingly well..Got 2 Mega Streaks off it through IM..only went for a fiver each time though

To me, that is a bloody good question, however i can be answered both ways. a few years ago there was a trick on barcrest supercharged. The trick came out very late, just like this classic DOND, and the new trick was going around and finding them!
On the flip side of the coin, techniques have come to light on machines, or more to the point revisions of machines that have not been released, Astra classic slots, and Mazooma Golden Game come to mind.
Like most if not all topics here, there all about people point of view, was bellfruits random spinner really sloppy programming? personally i dont think so, but thats my point of view, the manual that came with the machine was a bog standard bell fruit field manual, so half of the stuff was irrelivant. i recon their code or `engine` all centers around the same code, therefore to have this trick would require reverse engineering of sorts?
im sure codes here can put the record straight, but loads of techniques for randoms popped up at once - slotto - monkey business - spinner - and a few more, even elvis had a problem.

I'd be amazed if the code for fruit machines didn't have to pass some kind of externally run testing procedure. If the code is released with only 'in house' testing, I'd be frankly disgusted. Bear in mind my dad is a software tested / communications consultant and I've seen how in depth his testing of software is, I couldn't believe that the likes of the Lucky Strike method (as an example) could exist with any form of 'genuine' code testing.
I'm prepared to be disgusted to be honest.
Still, 8 weeks and 2 days since I stopped playing machines, and knowing how bent they are** only adds fuel to my desire to not play one again as long as I live
** or rather, knowing that I may have 'skill' on my side but not 'information' which others exploit, leaving machines open to rip off the honest punter.

Ah yeah what you mentioned there mate. I thought the Elvis down my arcade was paying too much. It's been off for ages now. Maybe someone's been having a go at that? It's probably just broke though, no cheats for section 16's AFAIK. IMO machines are getting harder to cheat on. The programming is so tight some lapses would have to have been put in deliberately and leaked. Otherwise no wonder would ever find them. Especially the obscure ones. As already mentioned in this thread, i think some people on the outside pay big money for inside info. You'd more than make your money back on this DOND trick if you knew the right people. It's still a bum deal for the honest player though but there ya go.
