What I simply done today was put £1000 in my Fruit Machine. I managed to put this much in by enabling the clear credits on any reset switch to be turned on, I simply put £10 in and then opened the door, so it counted £10 into the Machine and did this over and over until finally £1000 had been put into the machine. I thought, this is going to pay big! Well, it has paid out approx 8 Jackpots, but for £1000 in, that is nowhere near it's legal percentage payout, so what's going on guys? The machine is currently set to 98%, so why has the percentage not yet been met, if it will simply not offer me any more Jackpots or high wins, or more than I put in!

The reason for this phenomenon is that you are, unfortunately, like me, inherently unlucky. The cure to this problem is to get somebody else to play it, whereupon it will instantly drop its £980.

I may be wrong but just because its set to 98% doesnt mean its running at 98% 100% of the time.

98% is its target %

LOL, what do you mean by target may I ask LOL, i thought that that was it's target to pay, it must pay 98% by law if those are the settings?

On your machine, you have a Target percentage and an ACTUAL percentage.

Your target percentage is 98%
Your actual percentage goes up when a win is collected and goes down when credits are played through. Simple enough, but are you sure that just because you inserted £1000 into the machine does it mean that the machine changes its percentage because of this (i.e, actual percentage going down) because no credits were played.

Maybe the £1000 you put into the machine just didnt count towards its percentage??

Could be, but I actually checked the software meters and it clearly displayed "Cash in £1000". Maybe one of the Engineers will know:)

it was mentioned before that your target % will level out after around 5000-10000 credits so your actual % will hardly ever bethe % you have set it at but in the long term it will.

also if you have done a ram clear recently then the machine will suck up for ages until it pays out.

also you have to be playing the machine constantly for the machine to make any visable change.

Brilliant advice mate cheers, it just seemed really odd to why you have to play the Machine when that is the same as taking cash through (appologies if i'm wrong) when I just put £10 in at a time and then cleared the credits by opening the front door, and repeated doing it until I had £1000 through the Machine, it's really confused me to why you have to play the credits?

So, just to clear up, can I just keep on doing the £10 in and then open the door and then put another £10 in to count all credits, or will this not count the credits through , will it just count the cash in and not the credits (number of games), because if this don't then may this come under fraud LOL, please sa that I can just put through £1000 the quick wa and then play it normally so that it will play the same and then pay out it's percentage properly?

I don't think it would work, no. The machine's meters will read £1,000 in £0 out, but the playing percentage will be unchanged. If the playing %age is calculated using the formula (credits out / credits in) x 100, then by not playing any credits, you're not going to affect the percentage.

Hi, I have just checked this. I put through £30 (Not by playing credits, just by enabling the clear credits on any reset function) and before I had put £30 through the percentage was 30.3, and after I had put through £30 the percentage dropped to 30, so is doing this Method dropping the percentage? It seems that it is! I don't understand why it is as correct me iif i'm wrong, the only true formula for calculating the Machine's percentage is through credits played through and cash in and cash out, so if for example a Machine had £1,000,000 out through it the method I do, and it had not had a single spin of the reels, instead of it paying out on the immediate next time ou play it properly (Playing the Credits through) will it still take around 5000 spins to finally start paying out!?
