Hi please could someone give me a clue as to why, when I load any game on recently downloaded v9.4 the program freezes and I have to end it using ctrl/alt/del. I have tried deleting and re-downloading and at times it has worked for 1 session but when I reload the emulator it freezes again. I've had a thorough look through the forum but can't seem to find a similar problem. thanks for tips in advance.

What soundcard are you using?

There is a problem with some machines that use Realtek AC97 soundcards.

A driver update usually sorts it, but please check you have this soundcard before downloading :)

downloading the soundcard, taking into account the bug possibilities but everything else seems to be fine.
