Anyone got any stories on these good and bad. I have decided today must stop playing these. Started playing about 2 monthes ago, had some big wins £800 my highest and generally was doing ok playing disciplined. Until this weekend must have done £600 on them. Funny thing was saw some other bloke go on after me same machine and blow £500. Machine must of went about 70 spins without giving either of us a favourable number.

Anyone have any views on their randomness?

To be honest think I have needed this kick up the backside, never thought had gambling problem, as never lost this much before. Determined not to play FOBT again

ive lost roughly 20k in six years, most i ever won was 1,060 quid
they are totally random, but it dosent seem to be most of the time, the amount of times ive had every number covered except one
you can guess what happened
ive tried to stay off them, but they can be a good buzz

Yeah much more addictive then fruitys in my opinion. Its like you can go in with £20 in walk out with £500 - 1K but lose even more that that in 5 minutes . I am determined to stay off them after this weekend.

Know what you mean about the buzz, suddenly getting a £70 105 top of a fruit machine after ( playing for 30 minutes seems hard work when you could get that on a FOBT in one spin.)

As to randomness I am sort of unsure, sometimes they seem random ( even when winning and losing) yet every time I have won big its all most like the machine is delibrately finding a good number for you. Remember in William Hill put £13 on 0 pressed spin, the machine frooze for about 5 seconds then spun in the 0. You also get the feeling of suck periods too when you just cant hit anything I have covered 90% of the board before and not had a number in for about 30 spins then it was one I had a lowest stake on.

I saw the tail end of my mate's session, coined 'black Thursday'. He lost about £550. He was chasing badly, his last £100 went in under 5 minutes betting £15-£20 per spin.
