Has any one seen any of the old £2 per play £500 jackpot Rainbow riches , Elvis etc machines that have been converted into 50p play £35 jackpot machines.

would be interested to see how these play compered to the new versions of the B3 machines, and if they have decided to use the streak feature as most barcrest do, or just leave the jacpot as a flat £35- casino style machine

Thanks

I was playing them the other day - and the reels spin way quicker and they suck money way way quicker - the leprechaun streak means you get a spinning feature similar to the pots on the old ones and I got £70 which seems to be the streak. The Elvis seems to work pretty much the same. The big difference is now you get holds and nudges on these machines. The Elvis has a lot of nudges but it seems to play more like Golden game with a worse set of cash values on the wheel now (inlcluding the top feature).

I am assuming that he is on about the £35 conversions they have made not the B3 conversions.. They are bizarre - they use similar graphics but have only a standard set of reels - and for example the wishing well feature comes if you get three wishing wells on the winline feature exactly the same. 3 Leprechauns on the winline = the pot feature + repeat chance. Whereas the B3 version is exactly the same as the S16 version except for the bank and stake being seperate and the progressive pots going and falling in to the £1 stake percentage setup.

So this really is a different topic. ;)

I assumed at first that he was talking about the S16 to B3 conversions, so guess I assumed everybody assumed the same as me :) but it's true what my old nanna used to say...... Never assume you make an ASS out of U and ME ;)

They don't exist mate - this is one of those urban legends you have heard about....... Check there's nobody in the car back seat next time you get in ;) They were never made and never will be - plus not ever - noway - Barcrest are too clever to allow that sort of thing..... Barcrest are lovely peoples- no they don't kill puppies either whatever you might have heard that is not how they get the red colour for the feature board..... Barcrest would never do that!!!

Well a while ago i played a £25 JP Elvis machine. It played exactly the same as the £500 JP one. They had them both in at the same time. But a few weeks later the lower JP one had disappeared. It was easy to drop though must admit. Now they leave the other Elvis switched off. Has been for ages now. Probably waiting for the conversion to be done. Funny how it's one of the only ones i've never seen come up on e bay etc.
