Hey guys,
I come in search of your vast knowledge.
I was having a great day on the bandits today, caught the new monopoly and pots of gold backing, easy £130 profit. I also caught Warped backing. Up until today, i had never caught it backing and it was always a bitch so stayed well clear, however with a good profit on me i thought i would push it.
After sticking £90 into the backing bandit i was at a loss, i had not been offered anything of value more than a red £10 repeat (which i did not take).
Another few £ in and i got the 5 moons and at this point wanted to cut my losses, this only produced £15, i thought i would have at least got £35 but no. Another few £ in and i was offered nornal warped took it and it was £35. So about £95 in and £50 in the bank i decided to push for more, before i knew it i had stuck another £50 in.
After taking a few small wins to screw it for somebody else i left to play Deal or No Deal.
What i want to know is what is the best method to play this machine? Is it a streak bandit or a build up little wins bandit? Should i always avoid taking the 5 moons? Does the machine have any tells for when it is in a good mood?

I tend to do quite well out of some machines.
The Deal or No Deal ones for example (well apart from power 5)

Cheers Alth. Not touched one for... umm... something like 11 weeks now. I think it's 11 weeks tomorrow. No online gambling, no arcade visits, and not even tempted when I go to pubs now.
Just with I could deal with my food addiction. Mmmm... food.
Have to agree though, the way that some machines are geared to play, that is to suck £100+ and then drop a streak, typically upwards of £75, means that SOMEONE is going to get screwed - and the more honest you are (like me), the more screwed you will get.
When theres large streaks at stake, theres greedy people sharing information. I once lost £200 in a Party Time Arena in one a very small arcade. Didn't get a top board. Ended up ruining a family day out - basically STARTING an argument just so I could stay on the machine. Then I found out the machine was f***ed, and when I went in about 15 mins later after a 'head clearing' walk, intending to play some 10p machines, the owners son had taken a shitload out.
Same applies in pubs, even large chain pubs, where staff share machine information with their colleagues / friends, and definately in arcades.
You'd be better off without them.

haha when will people learn that backing means f all, if anything it tells me the machine is very efficient at making a health profit for its owner. Ii am sorry but anyone who expects to win on fruit machines needs their heads fixing. Show me one person who claims to make a life time profit on them without actually owning the machine or selling them and i'll show you the worlds biggest liar

As I said above, some people CAN and DO make a living, but they are dishonest scum. They don't rely on 'luck', they rely on scams and generally just being c***s I wouldn't say lifetime profit because my mum has made a lifetime profit on them - she put 50p in a machine on an RAF base about 10 years ago and dropped a £250 cashpot. Since then she's probably only staked about £50 in machines with I'd guess about a £40 return - only literally like 'a quid' and only when on holiday.
I'd like to see one person who makes a living on machines without :
1) Scamming devices.
2) Emptiers.
3) Sharking, or people to do the sharking for them.

sounds to me like you caught the machine after it did a £105 streak.

It does mean something in some cases. Not every time. But it's more on the older ones than the newer ones. With all this 'anti forcing' tech that's been mentioned on here, on some of the newer machines, your better taking what you can get anyways. The odds really aren't stacked in the players favour to say the least.
Never come across this particular machine before. Doesn't sound like i'm missing out on much! Bananaman you've done what i've done so many times before. Started up but finish losing. Or at least losing most of your winnings.
Ey Up!

You would be surprised as how many people there are that play fruit machines full time and make a consistant profit from them.
Im at college now so not going to make that much for the next few years and what i do make will propably be spent on the weekend
markdennis - no emptys apart from the deal or no deals which are long gone, cant garuntee it but the warpeds are getting done not sure if chip out or not though will be worth staying away from them for a bit.

Ive played this machine a lot and most of the time it takes lots to give lots most of the time i play this i find myself forcing it even with £35 in the cashpot it will still nail you never take the moons as iv never seen £35+ most of the time when its offering moons it will give you Warped dont take moons they are £15 normally, if it offers moon walker /UFO it is playing well but iv seen it offer these within a few quid then take 80 to get £105 bk the other day i put in £160 in but got £190 back this machine is a streak machine most of the time after warped it will give another 1/2 or even 3! warped's after itas i found the other day i go £105 followed by£50 followed by moon walker (15) £23 repeat (no rep) then after that rocket money which was a 4 +1 £10 i wonder if i hadnt taken these features if it would have given me another warped ? Hmm . you probably caught it after it had streaked and been refilled.
Oh yeah if it offers sky rocket then its really happy and if its red then you are garaunteed warped also never take warped from the bonus's as it will pay £45 max , also always gamble at least twice/3times before exchanging as this increases the chance of being put in the middle apart from that dont play it if it doesnt seem happy ( eg. offering 10rep within £15 if its not offering much within £15 just grab a win and run
Hope this helps as i know this machine pretty well and it can pay 200 + on a good day if someones dropped enough down it:)

Theres no empty for rovers return just a few different rips for it.
If you had the BTB i would be willing to pay good money for that.

Cheers mate, that is some very helpful advice.
As for the others in the thread, i do not use any cheat devices and find that i do quite well out of most bandits. Even with my issues on Warped last week i was in a rough £200 profit for the week. I have some bandits that i jsut play over and over and i get to know tells whne to play/not to play. Yes at times i am wrong and end up losing a fair amount but im right most of the time.
