Right, who could please help me out here? I have just looked on comet and checked through the prices of the HDMI cables, and there is one at £30 and one at £130 yet they both look identical, so what is going on with these crazy prices???

The dearest one is probably made by Monster. Comet like to push these. I have never seen any appreciable benefit although others may correct me.

It's like with most things. You pay over the odds for something that basically does the same as something cheaper. It pays to shop around. Although with that price difference, maybe the connectors or something are better? Whatever it is i'll bet it's not worth forking out that extra money.
