Can anyone help?
I have a s16 type emulator and the machine comes up and accepts money but when you go to play it, it comes up with path not found and wont run.
Any idea why and what to do?

I am not sure they was one? Correct me if i am wrong how do you use the RNG

It is cos you don't have the folder in the correct place..

I take it you mean either the ELVIS, RAINBOW RICHES, CASHINO or RANDOM SPINNER S16's that were done then removed due to legal reasons !!

Take it you bought a disk with them on off e bay? Unless you downloaded them off here before they were removed.

it doesn't seem that they have been removed as everything looks ready to play.
it accepts notes into the note acceptor and credits come up on the LED when i go to click start it tells me that path is not found 'error 76', any idea how to make it run?

I didnt have much joy earlier but im running a s16 type 500 machine on my pc and it accepts notes, coins and start button flashes (as in ready to play) but when i hit start button pc tells me 'PATH NOT FOUND RUNTIME ERROR 76'
Can anybody help me as to why and how to cure this?

Just because you had 'no joy' as you put it please dont create a new thread especially when the 'old' One was still displayed on the desktop....

Don't worry - they weren't very good - so you missed nothing. Although my mom still plays them daily - lol - so they can't be that bad - and I still play them more than the machines on MFME - But that's just me - lol

In answer to the PMs if anybody wants help writing a machine and knows a language (preferably VB or C) then I will talk them through their options and help as much as I can. You need at least a basic understanding of something like VB, although the coding is a piece of piss just needs the time and effort really...

James couldn't you just change the name of the machine and use your own custom gfx (or get someone to make you some as I know ya not too hot with them... Hehehhe) - that way Barcrest can't moan and at least something new is coming out for all the people that like these type of games.

I have no idea and still are looking for a step by step guide to get it up and running.

That auction has ended but if you look at his other items he still sells them. Read the small print at the bottom. Seems like e bay removed his listing then sent him an apology letter?!! WTF?!! Cheeky git. Ironic though how you can't put them on here for free but he can charge for them?

Funny thing is now enough have been sold on ebay I can let you in to a secret - if anybody tries to run the s16s I wrote after Nov 1st they will get a little suprise on their pcs... lol.. these sellers are going to get lots of ebay complaints... don't worry though nothing malicious...
