The only good thing you can say about that DOND clone is that you won't have to worry about playing it in the pub.

Your mates choose a pub, you go in and that's there. No question of being unsociable and buggerring off for ten years to play the machine.

That is unless you enjoy putting in £6-£14 for a board that pays £2-£3 over and over and over and over a fu(swearing) and over again until you're about £95 down and it gives Deal or no Deal or Dec or no Dec or whatever. Then it's immaterial if you get £35 or 1p. The outcome is the same. It's = You've lost a feckin' load of money which'll put you in a miserable mood.

Only if someone came over with a certificate of authenticity to prove they'd put in £100 without a single win being taken, then the odds would be more favourable and I might consider playing it.

They've already cloned the original Beat The Banker with a Cops 'n robbers theme. I can only assume BTB was the most popular of the DONDs. Probably as it was the only one which didn't have an emptier, hence better takings.

They cloned WIYB with The Drac Pack, but I assumed that failed test. They could have at least cloned the 4 reeler or Power 5 etc but no, we get that.

Worth giving it a wide berth methinks.

You don't mean the £5 version of the 'original DOND' do you? Theres LOADS of machines about called 'Classic Deal or no Deal', which are basically rebuilds using the original DOND as the theme, but aimed purely at the seaside / £5 type environment.

Not sure if theres any gameplay changes as I haven't played one - I was only in the arcades looking for any old machines I could photo - and all I found were LOOOOOADS of Andy Capp / Road Hog - already perfectly good artwork for them.

The only machines i have not played are going ape and Ant and Dec. If going ape plays anything like cash attack it will be ace.

The DOND one is very hitty missy it is in Lloyds Bar in The Gate Newcastle.

Once on the main feature if you play to the end you are given the chance of a swap i would say about 70% of the time. I have swaped both £1 and 10P for mega streak.

When you swap, your box is shown, then you see the reel move round to what you have swaped to.

the 1's thats released straight away are the 1's that passed in the specific area of performance.

as i didn't personally have test machines myself i only dealt with machines 3 years after they been approved.

bazpeeb may or may not enlighten u further

yeah basically what lincs said.

we get around 20/30 test machines every month and we site them in different areas.
all figures are given back to the manus and they decide if its worth producing the machines in bulk.

test machines usually only stay on site for 6-10 weeks.

if a machine is approved then they go on sale about 3-4 weeks later.

Orite so if you found out a way to stop a certain machine making money when its on test then it wont be full released sounds like a plan lol
