I have checked the knowledge base and the forums for this problem, but have not found anything.

I am using JPeMu V2.50, on Win XP SP2, with the latest update of RealTek audio drivers.

Basically when I get a win line (3 cherries etc.) and the "Ker Ching" sample plays, it sticks on a loop playing the sample over and over and the machine just keeps displaying "Win! Win! Win!". The only way I have found to get the machine to carry on is to click out of the JPeMu window onto the desktop or another window I have open and then go back again, the machine then carries on as normal and I can chose 'Hi Lo' 'Exchange' etc.

This has happened on Viva Rock Vegas, Tomb Raider, Roller Coaster, Pot of Gold, Big Top, Cash Box Club and probably others. They all play fine with regards to features, nudges going around the game board etc. it's just when a win line comes up that I get this problem.

If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this or would like more information from me, please let me know.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Jamie

Hi Todd,

Thanks for the response. Just downloaded the latest update of Direct X, still the same I'm afraid. Unless I should re-start after the update which I haven't tried yet.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks again,

Jamie

P.S. Like the Avatar, the bird from The Real Hustle, how do you prefer her, blonde or brunette?

Thought I might have to restart but had a load of programmes on the go.

Have just tried a restart and still the same.

Not sure why this is happening.

Any other ideas?

Many thanks again in advance,

Jamie

are you using the correct version for the layouts? i remember when downloading Jpemu emulator layouts a while back, a lot of them had been updated to run with version 2.51.

When you re booted, did you run the emu without opening other applications? running the emulators with several other apps can have a negative effect on the emulator.

Hi Richard,

Took your suggestions on board, closed all other applications and just ran the emu - still the same.

Downloaded 2.51 and tried the same games - still the same.

I just can't get this sorted, which is a shame because it is very distracting trying to play these and having to exit from the window everytime I win on 'Hi Lo'.

Any other help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

OK, well thanks for everyone's time. If anybody does have any ideas, please let me know.

I will keep trying a few things myself, but so far I have not had any luck.

Thanks again,

Jamie
