I run the fruit machine emulator on my wide screenlaptop on vista. How ever when I load up the excellent 1280 dx files, half the machine has fallen off the bottom of the screen. Is the a option i can use to resolve this apart from rotating the screen. Any advice would be great.

you could try changing the screen res otherwise ur best bet would be to run 1600 screen layouts

Why 1600 when his lappy can't even take 1280's?

Only reason I'm asking is because I'm in the market soon for a new computer. Is it something to do with wide screen?

Very few lappys surport 1280 x 1050 , the latter size being the key , been looking for ages to no avail , vista just dont handle it , unless ya spend big bucks , bring back XP , those times were good

Widescreen laptops will not be able to display any games if they are over 1024 res.

If you wish to see the full machine on a 1280 or 1600 machine then you will need to use a desktop computer that can display these settings.

Also a 4 slice toaster helps on setting 6
