Just an update.....not brilliant news atm.
Called project and told them I had won Ht6 on ebay (thought a team effort I wasn't going to confuse it).
Explained the battery had leaked and destroyed/currupted the chip and it won't boot. The machine is a renovation project (no pun!) and I need to purchase the ROM.
Bottom line here......"For Health and Safety reasons we do not supply to the public" I was told, this day 'n age I appriciate that---but I have had my hand in the workings non-stop on several other machines and with this all I want to do is replace a chip!.....I even promised to make sure the PSU was unplugged!

There are other options ongoing atm, update as and when

did u actually speak directly to one of the tech guys in the technical department or someone in reception?
speaking directly to the tech guys are more helpful than a bird sitting behind the desk answering calls

If they wont sell to the public get someone who is in the gaming industry to ring & they should supply the rom to an arcade, if they still have it.
