Batteries have been removed, but I cannot guarantee that they are working.

I've just been offered a 'thought to be working' board, from a member here, assuming he can find it!

Obviously at the price he's asking, which I consider to be very fair, I would want him to test it first; Which he is going to do.

Anyway,

I'll take yours for the £5 donation hands down I could possibly do with the spares!

When I get this machine up and running i'd donate at least another £5 for all the help I have recieved so far...

My machine is now running! Just replaced the board.

Going to make sure it runs longer than the life of the battery though, by siting a new battery offboard!

FYI flashing red light on Scorp 4 or 5 usually indicates a problem with the game card. Take the game card out and power up the machine, you will see what I mean.

nice 1 m8 glad u got it sorted, my advice is good advice about soldering wires between the board and battery this way the board will not get damaged by anymore leaky batts lol

i'm sure damo would have the common sense to use insulation tape to prevent any shorts without me having to say

I've been talking about soldering, nimh batteries and other technical oddities, so when I mentioned, 'what's electrical tape', I was joking!

I've got enough of the stuff to stock maplins for a few weeks

I've got a replacement battery soldered to a bit of veroboard and i've stuck it in a box; should it choose to commit suicide within a few years; It can do so behind closed doors!
