I managed to get to over 100 grand on William Hill's - wish it was real.
It took 5 mins to win that much and 25 minutes to blow it all on another slot on there. Goes to show how quick you can be ripped.

Im pretty sure that when your on practice mode, it pays out loads more to entise you to play the real thing.

Technically they're not but they do anyway. I'm sure of it. But proving it is the problem. I only really use 888.com. Got $15,000 dollars off one spin on one of the video slots in practice mode. Got to the end of the feature on the Santa one and got about 20 odd grand. I hardly ever play for real money though cos it's easy to lose a fortune.
