Guys

Hope someone can help. im just re building my mates laptop. I have re installed a fresh copy of xp home and when it boots up to the desktop. I flick the wireless button to the on posistion, but nothing happens. It does not pick anything up or give me the option to search for wireless networks in range.

Any ideas. its by my side now looking at me but doing nothing.

Your help would be much kind

goto to system settings, then goto network card then highlight it and then right click and scan for hardware changes, or take the laptop apart and check u have put the wireless cable back onto the board.
