Hi everybody

I wanted to know if anyone had heard of the fruit machine that I am about to describe.

It was a club machine

It had a cash pot

It had 4 reels

To get the cashpot you needed 4 gold coins on a win line or might have been 4 cashpot logos (barcrest), though I'm sure it was gold coins

Another way to get the cashpot was a feature at the top of the cabinet that had from top to bottom

coin
triple bar
double bar
single bar

The coin would give you the cashpot 4 coins(the best of the 4 to get)
The triple/treble bar would give you 4 treble bar win
The Double bar would give you 4 double bar win
The Single bar would give you a 4 single bar win on the winline

You had a random select for this feature

The bars may of been Yellow(single bar) Orange(double bar) and Red(treble bar)

The cashpot jackpot was 75 pounds

and I had the honour of winning that jackpot. And spent lot's of money.

If anybody knows anymore please could they reply with any information that may help me in my quest to find the name of this machine.

I can't remember the name of the machine but it was made by Crystal on the MPU4 platform and, as such, can't be emulated:(

Sounds like bags of cash by crystal, a good clubber.
You climbed to the top feature called jackpot spins and either got 4 coins for the cashpot, 4 double bars for the jackpot of 4 double or single bars. nealry always gave the cahspot/jackpot but on odd occasions it would give you the poxy single bars for £15

Hi Everybody,

Thanks for replying and I'm amazed at your knowledge.

Bags of Cash does sound like the machine but it's funny how you play on a machine for hours, spend loads of money and not know her name :)

The machine did tend to give out the 4 single bars for 15 pounds a lot.

Wondered if anyone could source or where I could find a picture/image of the machine.

Once again thanks to the people of Fruit Emu

Is there any news on mpu4 being released in the future?

MPU4 was emulated from the very first versions of MFME! Of course this machine can be emulated, we just need to find the resources (layout & ROM files), but there's no technology issue, like there is with Epoch, Electrocoin or Astra...

Ahh, if only...I could do with a good ole blast of Homer's Meltdown or Labyrinth right now...

As you can tell I play the machines both real and emulated. I sort of understand some machine code, logic and programming languages. One day I would like to try and design a simple machine and build from there.

What makes Crystals MPU4 un-emulatable as it were?

Are the roms just not available and/or if they were could it still not be done. Or is it just at present?

I do like Crystal machines.

I believe its something to do with the security system crystal used. Could be wrong though

The roms are available btw

Someone said the Roms are available for Bags of Cash and also for Club Mystique (another favourite) see attached but they are both MPU4 correct? and They're both Crystal machines too?

Is it me or does Club Mystique look like the already emulated Club Explosion (see attached) only Mystique has no cashpot.
