As the title says, this was due to some upgrades I wanted to do to the server:

Perl upgraded 5.8.6 ---> 5.8.8
MySql ---> 5.0.25
Apache 1.3.26 ---> 2.2.6 (should make the site faster)
PHP 5.2.3 ---> 5.2.5

btw if anyone needs a site hosting then drop me a line, I still have alot of space left on the server.

If you have a good idea for a site then I'm not bothered about donations. We can always bung a couple of ads on there you know

I was thinking of making a site like Desert Island Fruits but it reviewed real machines that I had played...I was thinking about posting some ramblings on the forums but I would have liked an articl-ey bit rather than a post and it would all be £5 jackpot machines which the minority(I assume) play.

I did try earlier making a php forum but they sent me the confirmation email with a broken link1

Sounds OK to me. The server has software built in for automatically creating forums and CMSs

Is there summat wrong with the site or have i been banned from posting in the shoutbox ? There is no "box" for typing in messages if ye know what i mean..

Looks fine to me and I'm not aware it is possible to ban people from the shoutbox.

Although never had any probs before..but just switched to Vista today done an upgrade from XP..

Its weird though..cos when ye refresh the page..the "box" comes up for a sec..then dissapears again
