as its an old classic i would say yes however i think tbh the price is a little steep but aslong as your happy with your purchase then good on ya.

Seems a bit much to me..unless its mint condition..not that i know anything about purchasing fruitys..but i woulda thought more in the £100-150 type.
But i suppose the older type machines are a bit of a rareity these days.

It's a nice machine, but would have been worth more as an original £6/8/10 jackpot. Not the revised £5 jackpot one. Still I wouldn't mind it - think you paid a wee bit too much, but it's a buyers market, so all that matters is whether you are happy with it or not

i say thats a good price as i've seen these machines sell for over £250 before.
mind you it seems to be the dr who collectors that bump the price up.
its good machine as well

I saw one other day on the bay for £500 its listed in collectables books as being worth £1000 (never seen one go that high) so it adds a premium to it.

Yep I say that on ebay too - but it was a limited edition version as far as I remember, plus this isn't one of the original versions if it's on £5 jackpot. Still a nice machine though.

limited edition? did it say what it was about it that made it limited edition? i presume all fruit machines are limited editions as they make a certain number before designs/technology changes?? was it the design ?

nah it was an original bellfruit dr who from about 1995/96 machine.
nothing limited about it apart from about 2000-3000 being made of the production line which was usual back then.
it only gets the high valuation if its a mint condition machine and its a dr who collector thats selling it.
