You know what would be good? If just once you actually addressed the issues people have raised - useful service which harms nobody.

how about you try to do the same?

go on then, chop chop

Y'see, that doesn't even make sense.

Now there's a surprise, I really didn't see this thread turning nasty, honest.

f***#@#@#@# has a very valid point (although not diplomatic, no surprise there then) :p

We can all winge and rip chunks out of eachother whilst the auctions remain, and will always remain, it's will never change and the sooner it realised the better.

The ONLY way to stop it is offer an better service. Be that free or reduced cost to cover overheads.

Some peolpe here sound like my mother moaning that it's freezing cold, but aren't prepared to turn the heating on due to the cost and the effort to drag her fat arse off the settee away from Emmerdale.

Blimey better speak to my ISP Hopefully they will start Emu's!!.......The bandwidth on Fruit-Emu is a little !! more than some Emu sites provide....So I am being ripped off by someone.....What's the suggestion of better service....and what overheads?.......again the ISP's?....I was under the impression that Emu had already gone to a faster server..at their cost?.....and Free!!

You misunderstand me mate, I was reffering to offering a free FME CD service or a dirty cheap one to cover discs and postage.

you tell me to address your points, yet you failed to address any of mine.

Now go back and address all the points I made about bleem and the sale of emulation.

Infact, tell you what, dont bother

It can and will change, people probably said the same thing about fruit machines being sold and look what happened?

no doubt a way around it will happen, but for now Ill play it by ear.

The illegal sale of something will stop, like ive said, its against the law and its only a matter of time before it gets round the back of ebay and bites them in the arse.

What goes around comes around, its karma

What "points"? Bleem got Bleem shut down, it didn't get emulation shut down. If you think someone selling a few £5 CDs on eBay will make fruit machine manufacturers more likely to take action against the FME scene, you're an even bigger idiot than you appear, which is already very big.

I honestly think the biggest point here is that emu designers are having their work being taken for profit, in which they give lots of time and effort for no gain other than the pleasure of their creations.........

OK the arguement may be 'How about the machine makers'?...I think we all know they get their penny's worth..

Valid point and answer to the whole post?

That's the spirit but I not sure you should, you do enough of these as it is and have done for a long time. If 5 or 6 people came forward to share the burden and split the country geographically it could be done esily.

Maybe we should step this up and look for people to start posting these auctions...

If ebay wont do anything about it then we will have to...

Totally off topic but Duplu , Wozza you will need to update the statistics page as this topic alone has broken all outstanding records other than comments.......

And A Merry Xmas to you all...... ©

Recently i was speaking to a man at Barcrest, I asked him what all the legal bit was when it came down to the roms etc.

It is against their policy for anyone to sell on the rom files that they released to the public for any cost.

He asked me to point out someone who was doing this so i pointed him at ebay and he is going to let me know what the situation is...

Barcrest's Legal department is now involved and i will expect they will hit the roof when they see the sort of things on offer with the fruit machine cd's.

More to follow when i have some news.
